Your Atlanta Hawks were firmly in control of last night’s game versus the Bulls, until Chicago back rallied in the 4th after being down by as many as 19. The Bulls led by Derrick Rose who scored 17 of his game high 30 points in the final quarter sealed the deal with a game winning layup by Luol Deng with 3 seconds remaining.
Deng’s shot gave the Bulls a 76-74 victory over your Atlanta Hawks.
The Bulls scored 34 points in the 4th quarter to pull even with the Miami Heat at 5-and-1 on the season.
Al Horford scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the 4-and-2 Hawks. Joe Johnson was held to only 10 points and Tracey McGrady could have stayed at home scoring only 2 points.
Hawks head coach Larry Drew said he thinks fatigue was a factor in the final quarter of the game.
Meanwhile, Hawks forward Josh Smith says he doesn’t believe they ran out of gas in the second half.
